Continually exceeding the productivity targets set by Skanska Balfour Beatty and helped to ensure this major works contract ran to programme.
Since 2011 CSF has been successfully undertaking the inspection, design, maintenance, repair and installation of all safety barrier operations for Kent County Council on behalf of Amey. This high profile local authority area, located immediately South East of London, and bordering Sussex, Essex, Surrey with routes running to the English Coast, has particularly high volumes of traffic, and CSF help to keep these highways safe and well maintained. Due to the levels of resources committed to this contract, CSF has its South Eastern depot in Faversham. A recent successful re-tendering process with Amey has resulted in CSF expanding their framework arrangement to other Amey contracts such as Hampshire and M8 DBFO in Glasgow, with others soon to be agreed. From June 2014, CSF are now named as Amey's preferred supplier for all safety barrier operations nationwide.
In Spring of 2014 CSF successfully tendered five contracts with Cumbria Council to deliver a programme of upgrades on their network. This programme was delivered ahead of schedule and has resulted in the local authority confirming further substantial investment in their safety barrier infrastructure over the next two years. Early contractor involvement allowed us to promote the most efficient schemes for the client, ensuring commercial and operational efficacy.
